To store or not to store biological samples at low temperatures...

So this week I’ve been considering the pros and cons of low temperature storage of biological samples. After speaking to my colleagues in our cold storage division and a few key customers I now understand that to preserve a sample’s integrity for analysis downstream most samples are stored within controlled temperature environments.
