| The ADAM automatic cell counter is a precision microscope integrated with fluorescence optics and image analysis software. After the samples are stained with Propidium Iodide, fluorescent images are taken automatically. The system takes 40 to 60 images by moving the chip on a precision X-Y stage beneath the CCD camera. Captured images are processed by the sophisticated on board image analysis software and the cell number and % viability are reported. | |
