Summary
SKU: For ordering information see above
The overall potential of vitamins not only in the field of research but also for therapeutic benefits of humans was realised at an early stage in cell biology. It was discovered that mammalian cells are not able to synthesise this class of biological compounds and the artificial basic cell culture media containing sugars, salts and amino acids were supplemented with the different isolated vitamins. These formulations were later intensified.
