Data Logging; DATAcentre - The Data Monitoring Solution
Summary
DATAcentre - The Data Monitoring Solution. A standalone monitoring alarm system which can monitor and alarm practically anything; including temperature down to liquid nitrogen levels, humidity, CO2, O2, door status as well as much more.
Often within a laboratory there is a requirement to monitor and record storage temperatures, especially in light of the HTA . It is also imperative to have a continguency plan in the event of equipment failure. Labtech has a wide range of solutions from simple autodiallers (see page XX) to a suite of information and control products, both hardware and software, which facilitate the control and monitoring of legacy and new laboratory equipment.
Features and benefits
- Flexible - A Wide range of sensors available which allows the system to monitor temperature, CO2, humidity, O2, door status and much more enabling all of your laboratory equipment to be covered.
- Failsafe alarms - Alarm options including visual & audible, autodialler, email, and connection to BMS systems with a customer specified delay to prevent false alarms allows the system to be flexible and meat the needs of the individual user.
- Protects samples -Each monitored device has a set of alarm thresholds, if the threshold is exceeded an alarm can be generated via the various alarm options thus alerting the end user of a failure and ensuring the safety of their precious samples.
- Low maintenance cost - transmitter battery life of up to 5 years meaning lower service and on going costs.
- Future proof - Each system comes with a base centre which can connect to 120 wireless or wired sensors and multiple base units can be used offering the flexibility to grow the system.
- Fast and easy - Real time and historical data can be viewed on the base centre and you are able to view and acknowledge alarms as well as having the ability to configure the unit (access prohibited) This allows for quick and easy monitoring of your critical equipment during working hours.
- User friendly - Data is collated and stored by the base unit and can be accessed in various ways either via a USB device, SD card which can store up to 10 years worth of data or being connected to a PC through a LAN port allowing remote access via a web browser enabling the end user to read real time readings and decide if emergency action is needed.
- Fully traceable - Every alarm is logged internally with the time, date and value the sensor reached. So that there is a fully traceable audit trail the unit can be configured ensuring an alarm can not be acknowledged without a password which will also be logged on the historical alarm data.
- Booster options - If the signal strength from the transmitter is not strong enough then repeaters are available allowing the monitored equipment to be spread out across rooms or floors.
- Secure user options - The system has various levels of access from view only to complete editing and alarm management enabling multiple user access.
- Low cost installation - The system can come pre configered cutting down on expensive installation costs.
