Digital Bio Technology is one of the chief frontier firms in the Bio-Infra field. Our company develops Solution Tools as well as experimental and medical diagnostic/analysis systems based on a new technology of Bio-MEMS, which combines MEMS( Micro Electro Mechanical System) technology and Bio technology organically. 

Digital Bio Technology is founded in June, 2000 by Seoul National University Ph.D.'s in the fields of medical, mechanical and electrical engineering with the founding capital of 300 million won. Our company has undergone capital increase and has established itself as a research-oriented company with a total capital of 1.2 billion won and approximately 20 researchers with advanced degrees.

Our company is currently concentrating on a system development of medical and life science, which will lead the future market. Lab-on-a-Chip(LOC), Point-of-Care(POC) and DNA chip analysis system are the main systems which are under developing with the technology of micro plastic chip fabrication and microfluidics. We have recently completed the development and commercialization of a disposable plastic LOC for dilution. And we have also produced prototype of cell counter which differentiates more than two kinds of ells as well as measures the number of cells and PT/APTT assay system which can measure condition of blood coagulation automatically. These two systems are under preparation for commercialization.

Furthermore, with the rapid commercialization of Bio Chips such as DNA/Protein chips, we have succeeded in the development and marketing of scanners(Genoscope DCR 200) necessary for such chip technologies. Also, with our superb MEMS technology as a basis, we plan to invest our resources in the development of small/portable in-vitro POC device, an area in which even technologically advanced nations stay in the quickening period. And all these efforts will lead us to the world-class bio-MEMS comapny.

In the future, Digital Bio Technology aims to develop various equipments that enable to perform many kinds of experimental and analytical processes in the laboratory of companies, universities or the medical institutions more rapidly and more economically. We will also concentrate our effort on developing advanced analysis analysis/experiment systems by combining Bio Technology and Information Technology to estabilish our company as a leader of the Bio-Infra industry and Solution tool provider.
